In Honor of the Village of Fayetteville and the Fire Department 175th Anniversary, an oak tree was planted at 425 East Genesee Street, a site that once held a school.  The Oak Tree is symbolic of the Fayetteville School District.

What the FM Alma Mater says in part rings true for our Village...

"Guarded by the old Oak Tree

Symbol of our Goal

Steadfast as our pride in thee

Its Strength will write our scroll"

175th tree planting

Present: FFD Chief Paul Hildreth, Mayor Mark Olson, Tree Commission Co-Chair Leslie Reitano, Trustees Mike Small & Dan Kinsella
